No service mode flags have been set
When enabled the POS will automatically start a new order and remain in the ordering screen after paying off the previous order.
Common use is for bar operations where it is preferable for speed reasons to remain in the ordering screen.
When enabled, this service mode will not be shown in the currently Open Orders list on the right of the floor plan in POS.
This would usually only be enabled for service modes which have all their entities displayed on the floor plan making it unncessary to also have them on the Open Orders list.
Print a message to the KP printers when an order is transfered to a different service mode or service mode entity. For example, a table transfer from table 1 to table 2.
When enabled, any items ordered in this service mode will not be counted towards tippable sales.
When transferring to this service mode from another service mode, all existing sales will be changed to reference this service mode instead which may affect the tax applied to these items.
Example: Applies in the UK where a customer may perform a sale in takeaway mode (tax free), then the customer decides to actually sit in the restaurant, so takeaway is transferred to a table and the items become taxable.
In the US however, the original service mode tax rules would need to still apply to those items so you would NOT enable the flag in this market.
This option can be used to disable the user inactivity (auto logoff) functionality while the user is in this particular service mode. If inactivity is not enabled for the outlet then this setting has not effect.
This option can be used to require the user to finish (finalise) the current transaction before they can close the ordering window.
Commonly used for bar mode operations.
When enabled, orders in this service mode will not be available to Pay at Table credit card interfaces for payment.
Enable this when you want to ensure certain orders is this service mode cannot be paid by Pay At Table devices.
When enabled, all new orders started by the POS for this service location will automatically be placed into Bistro Mode
Remote orders are not affected by this flag.
When enabled, this service mode will only be shown in the currently Open Orders list on the right of the floor plan in POS IF there are unpaid orders currently open for it.
This would typically only be enabled for service modes that are not usually accessed directly by the POS user (such as remote orders), but the existance of unpaid orders needs
to be dealt with and as such it will appear when there are unpaid orders linked to it.
